• Department of Economics was Established in 2008.  the Diversity of specialization of the epartment faculty has promoted department offers a master couse in two years post graduation courses in Economics (M.A.) from 2018-19. The Department of economics recognize the growing demand for trailed and other sector as well as nurturing further specialists in economics.  The study of economics provides tools to make these choices in such areas as employmet, economic growth, price stability and trade. This subject also accommodated students wishing to entre public service are interested in the study of public administration or banking sector.  The post graduate level greatly benefited from the subject.  Economics department encourage studdnts toinvolve in social activities as well as analysis and relate fields.

Objective of economics Study.

The study of economics involves an analytical look at how scarce resources are allocated to various areas of production. It emphasizes the importance of making choices between desirable alternatives. The study of economics provides tools to make these choices in such areas as employment, economic growth, price stability, and trade. The bachelor of science in economics is especially suited for students who wish to combine a major in economics with concentrated study in other disciplines
