The Department of Zoology runs classes up to second year B. Sc. It has a well-established, separate, spacious renovated laboratory.

Laboratory museum displays specimen ranging from Phylum Porifera to class Mammalia.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF ZOOLOGY DEPARTMENT

• To develop awareness and understanding about the zoological studies.
• To adapt basic, applied, practical oriented and modern teaching techniques.
• To create awareness among the students for Competitive Examinations.
• To develop students as a prospective and responsible citizen for the Nation.
• Establishment of the Department: 2009-2010
• Co-curricular and extracurricular programs conducted by the department: Department arranges visits to Apiculture and Agriculture Institutes. Department also arranges Fild Visits to observe fauna and biodiversity . Department conducts student centric activities.
