Profile
The Department of Zoology runs classes up to the second year B. Sc. It has a well-established, separate, spacious, renovated laboratory.
Laboratory museum displays specimens ranging from the Phylum Porifera to the class Mammalia.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ZOOLOGY DEPARTMENT
- To develop awareness and understanding of zoological studies.
- To adapt basic, applied, practical-oriented, and modern teaching techniques.
- To create awareness among the students for Competitive Examinations.
- To develop students as prospective and responsible citizens of the Nation.
- Establishment of the Department: 2009-2010
- Co-curricular and extracurricular programs conducted by the department: The department arranges visits to the Apiculture and Agriculture Institutes. The department also arranges Field Visits to observe fauna and biodiversity. The department conducts student-centric activities.
