Diploma in Food Processing/Fruits and Vegetables Drying/Dehydration Technician has been launched in the Academic Year 2020-21 under UGC and NSQF guideline. The diploma course is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) approval E-mail dated September 23rd, 2020. A scheme was launched by the UGC on ‘skills development-based higher education as part of College/University education’. The course is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, Approval No.- 2021/(62/21)/.मशि.4, dated 29/10/2021 and Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Affiliation order reference no. CA/1988 dated 23/11/2021. It is fully involved in the skills related to the Food Processing and Vegetables Drying/Dehydration. It helps to develop student's knowledge of Food Processing, Vegetables Drying/Dehydration skills.
